WELCOME

TO OUR PACK!

Pack 440 includes girls and boys in the community of Lake Travis, including LTE and the surrounding area.

We invite you to join us for friendship, fun, and adventure; and to grow in the spirit of Scouting - preparedness, readiness to help others, honesty, self-confidence, and responsibility.

Cub Scouts offers fun and challenging activities to promote character development, citizenship, and physical fitness for girls and boys who are in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Our Pack is community oriented, and our parents and leaders work together to help the kids grow in the values of Scouting.

When you're a kid, learning and growing is easy when you're having fun while doing it! Cub Scouts lets kids have fun while learning the skills and values that will help them throughout life. From the thrill of shooting an arrow to learning how to transform a block of wood into a race car, to camping, fishing and whittling, Cub Scouts is one adventure after another. With a program expertly tailored to match each age in a young child's life, young Scouts learn that even when the going isn't easy, it's always an adventure, and we'll get there in the end. In Scouting, everything has a purpose and our motto is "Do your best!".

NEWS

Celebrating Leadership

This past weekend, at Blue and Gold, we celebrated our incredible, kind, patient, community-driven leaders David Rosin and Kelly Camp, as they passed the baton of their roles (Cubmaster and Committee Chair) to the brave new leadership team. This pack would not be the welcoming, warm, tight-knit pack it is without the example of servant leadership Dave and Kelly embodied, and we will always be grateful!

Hooray for our new leads - Brian Scheffe and Liz Brunet! The pack is in great hands and looking forward to more adventures together.
Pinewood Derby and
Blue & Gold Celebration!

What a day Pack! Many congrats to the AOLs for all you learned to crossing that yellow bridge, and thank you for coming to celebrate scouts and scouting!

And all the congratulations to the racers who spent time and energy cutting, sanding, polishing, painting, weighing and decorating those cars! That is a win in itself! High fives for the speedracers who earned a trophy. See you next year!

We'll get back to you shortly!
